Concept testing can take place either at the early stage, when a Film or TV show is still a work in progress, or once the content is finalized. The key principle is to confirm the potential of your content and its various ingredients prior to its release. Concept board includes synopsis, main cast and first photos.

Measure the appeal of your movie or TV show

Identify your target audience

Measure the awareness, enthusiasm and expectations in the case of an adaptation (book, biopic, franchise…)

Identify drivers and barriers

Online test is conducted on a robust sample tailored to match your content. Test is divided into 3 main steps:
- Awareness and appeal measure of the main ingredients before full concept exposure,
- Concept board presentation,
- Post-exposure key metrics: Appeal, Drivers and Barriers (spontaneous and prompted), content qualifier…

The concept board gathers all the key elements of your movie or TV show: synopsis, director statement, artwork if available. Cast can be presented on split samples to measure incidence on the appeal. All elements are protected with individualized non removable watermarking.

In the case of novel adaptations or content based on historic events or franchise sequels, concept testing enables us to identify core fans, understand their expectations and see what they like most and least in your offer. The objective is also to see how your story resonates with a new audience.
