FOCUS GROUPS

THE APPROACH

Focus groups take place in person at a research facility in Paris and/ or other regions of France. Rooms accommodate up to 10 participants and offer a comfortable viewing experience. The discussion time is led by a moderator experienced in entertainment.

Groups alternate episodes and debriefs and conclude with an indepth discussion about key elements of the show (affinity, characters, plots…). Marketing assets (posters, trailers) can also be explored before and after exposure.

AN IN-DEPTH DISCUSSION

Focus groups allow for insightful conversations that delve into the heart of the show. Viewers have the time to speak up about the key elements of the show : understanding, affinity, atmosphere, characters, plots, scenes, perceived target, brand image…

We are not looking for a compromise – our objective is to uncover different points of view and analyze the reasons behind them.

THE DISCUSSION GUIDE

We develop a custom discussion guide to fit the specific structure of your show. We watch the show and listen to the needs and questions of your stakeholders to build the guide and bring actionable answers.

THE AUDIENCE

We define recruitment criteria according to your needs and the target audience of your show (age, gender, SPC, content consumption habits, SVOD subscriptions…). The number of groups is adjusted to your core targets (6 to 8 groups).

LISTENING IS KEY

Your priority is to listen to your viewers : we make sure you can hear their feedback live by observing the groups in person, or by watching the livestream/ replays wherever you are.

Our analysis is guided by viewer feedback. We help you visualize it with useful quotes and comments to illustrate findings in our final report.

THE DELIVERABLES

Our final report delivers detailed conclusions and recommendations on D+13. It includes Key Insights to provide a quick and easily shareable overview of the results.
